Buddha Bike turns bike trash into new bikes and sells them. The bikes they receive are in such a condition that they cannot be sold on the second hand market. But through Buddha Bike's remanufacturing the scrapped bikes are turned into new bikes. They receive the bikes from private, insurance companies and recycling spaces. Buddha Bikes calls themselves recycling-activists and take pride in creating new unique bikes from waste materials, saving the planet of around 200,000 kg CO2 yearly (source).
